Almost returned DOA

Straight out of the box these lights did not work. After fiddling with I finally decided to reverse the red and black wires and they lit up. The instructions are wrong since they say red is + and black is negative , which is how it should be. I'll see how long they last as build quality for the price point is ok but come on, how does reversed polarity wiring get past quality?
No, I do not recommend this product.
