Great toolbox, after fixing it to work right...

Came without keys and missing a locking striker. Had to purchase keys and jerry-rig a makeshift striker with a bolt and two hex nuts. Thought I was in the clear but found out it didn't lock properly. You could apply barely any upward pressure while lifting the handle and it would open while locked. This was because the striker base has a spring in it that lets it move. Whoever engineered that is not the brightest since the top of the locking mechanism is sloped. Anyways, I welded the striker base to the left of the mount instead of centering and that worked. After alllllll of that, it's a great toolbox.

Nice box. It is so close to the similar model offered by Lowe's and others (carrying their nameplate) that I don't see an obvious difference. That said, it is an excellent box and will provide many years of reliable service.

Pitiful Customer Service

Arrived at curbside pick up and called the store. The cashier answered and promptly hung up. Called back and she stated the phone service dropped out & it would be a few minutes because the manager was busy. Manager came out to my truck and asked if I could come into the store and help him carry the box out to my truck. So no big deal I guess. Went back into the store to get the mounting hardware and of course they were sold out. The Tool Box is fine.
