Very pleased with this purchase, after reading several reviews about the box being weak and cracking at the bed to box mating area, I made a small modification. Under the tool box where it makes the 90 degree bend to rest on the bed rails, I bought 4 angle supports made of steel from the local hardware store. I drilled and installed them with some pan head steel 1/4X20 bolts and both some large fender washers and regular washers and anchored them with nyloc nuts to prevent backing off. Once installed, it added rigidity to the structure and now I have no issues loading it up or even standing on it. The angle braces are only about 2 inches in either direction and about 1 a 1/2 inches wide. The fender washers allow more contact surface and the thicker flat washers add strength to keep it sturdy. Total spent on the mod, about $30 bucks to save a $300-$400 toolbox, I think it was worth it. PS- It also did not even touch the bed rails on my Ram 2500, so there was no install problems, mounted flush, like they weren't even there.

nice box. poor, defective, fragile, brittle spring in lock mechanism. end of spring breaks off causinng latch to fail. needs to be recalled
