Q: Does it come with a girth strap?

- A: Hello, thank you for your question. Here is what we have from the vendor: Complete with breathable girth with silicone dots to help keep the pad in place. Plenty of adjustment on both sides of this girth will allow it to fit most horses and larger ponies. Two sets of d-rings at the front and one in the back offer a place to attach a handhold, breast strap and crupper which are sold separately. There is no mention of a girth strap.a year agoHelpful?
Q: Can this pad fit a fat, 13.2hh pony? Is it waterproof, and can I go horse swimming in this?

- A: Hello, thank you for your question. Per the vendor, "This pad should fit, but all horses and ponies are shaped differently, and we cannot guarantee the fit without seeing the animal in person. The nylon portion is water resistant, but not waterproof. At this time we do not recommend this product for horse swimming because it has never been tested and was not specifically built for that purpose."a year agoHelpful?

I am not using this on a real horse (a toy one for a child so I cannot attest to how it would be if so used. It seems well made, is comfortable, and easily adjustable. The description does mention it when I went back to look but was surprised when it came with no cinch as all the pics show one. Found this a bit misleading.

Slips! They saddle slips! VERY DANGEROUS!

I cued my horse to line up to Dismount. He went one way and the saddle, my son, and myself went the other direction! The saddle slipped and we fell. We were not injured as I was able to ease down gripping my horse's mane and grabbed my son to gently slide down his side with me. This saddle is a huge safety hazard though! If my horse wouldn't have stood like a statue while we were hanging off his side, this could have been really bad!
No, I do not recommend this product.

Third attempt from this manufacturer and each delivery of product had some major defect so that when I returned for refund, was informed by the Tractor supply Equine Manager that each pad was disposed of in the garbage!
