Toro Flex-Force 10 in. 60V Max Cordless Pole Saw, Battery and Charger Included

Used several times since purchased. The safety trigger release is a total pain in the butt. Surely you can come up with something better.

I've been using the 60V MAX* 10-inch brushless pole saw with the 2.0Ah battery, and overall, I'm quite impressed with its capabilities. What I Really Liked: Plenty of Power: This pole saw is genuinely powerful. It chewed through branches much more easily than I expected, and the brushless motor seems to deliver consistent cutting performance. Simple to Get Going and Use: Putting it together was a breeze, and operating it is straightforward. I was up and running in no time. Automatic Oiler is a Plus: I really appreciate the automatic bar oiler. It’s nice not having to constantly worry about manually oiling the bar and chain during a job. Well-Balanced with the 2.0Ah Battery: I found the saw to be surprisingly well-balanced with the included 2.0Ah battery. This made it much easier to handle and maneuver, especially when reaching for higher branches. I can see how a larger battery, while offering more runtime, would likely make it feel more cumbersome and throw off that nice balance. What I Didn't Like: The Dreaded Oil Leak: My biggest frustration is with oil leakage during storage. If I lean it against a wall with the bar and chain pointing upwards, oil inevitably leaks out. It runs down the shaft, gets the grip all oily, and I've even seen it seep into the housing where the battery connects. So far, this mess hasn't seemed to impact how the saw works, but it's definitely an annoying cleanup and makes me a bit concerned about the long run. My Takeaway: This is a fantastic pole saw in terms of power, ease of use, and how it handles with the 2.0Ah battery. The automatic oiler is a definite convenience. However, the oil leaking issue when stored bar-up is a significant downside. If you get one, be mindful of how you store it – perhaps horizontally or by draining the oil, though that’s less convenient. Despite the leakage problem, it’s a solid performer for tackling pruning jobs.

Never received product

I picked this item up from a clearance. The tool works, but since it was a display unit... there's no chain. The store didn't have one either. Check online, conflicting info. Is it 3/8 or 1/4? TORO DOESNT EVEN KNOW! On the website here, the pitch is listed at 3/8... if you open a link for the manual, it's listed at 1/4. Which is it?!?!? So, 1 star, atm, because I can't even use it.
