Awesome in Pennsylvania North Snow

I'm not sure why people are giving this unit bad reviews. I live in North Eastern Pennsylvania and we get some nice storms, I had no problem going through 8 inches of snow. This model has a thick rubber auger that helps pull it along even though it's not self propelled. Honestly I was shocked by it's performance. I use it on a level driveway. But I will say if you have a steep inclined driveway you may not like this unit. I've used it on my neighbors steep driveway and it cleared the snow but I had to push it much more. So buy this if your driveway is level, if you have an incline driveway then move up to the two stage battery operated units Toro sells that are all self propelled.

Yes, I recommend this product.

The battery was faulty the first time I tried to charge it. I have not received a replacement yet.

Not every Toto-like battery works

The snowblower works wonderfully—but be sure to buy a Toro Battery. I accidentally bought a battery on line that looked like a toro battery, but it failed to work after the first use. I thought the Toro blower was faulty but after I bought a Toro battery and place it in the machine, it worked perfectly—so be careful what battery you purchase!

Engine Problem

I purchased my Toro Snowblower in December 2024 and didn't need to use it because we did not have enough snow. I used it once in December 2025 but didn't get through a complete removal because it stopped working. I took it to an authorized Toro repair shop only to find out there is a problem with the engine. I contacted the repair shop and they told me they are waiting on parts. I has now been four to five weeks without the Toro snowblower and have a 9 inch snowfall I have to shovel by hand with the help of my granddaughters and daughter. I am 78 year old and need my snowblower. Very disappointing!!!!!

No, I do not recommend this product.
