Somethings off with this Litter

This is the 2nd time I've had a issue this litter brand. The 1st time I used it the odor it gave off nearly knocked me out & did give me a bad headache. I tried to hold on to see if it would go away but no so I dumped it. I knew this was a good idea for a product and would be a great thing for my cats so I tried again a few months later. This time no smell but the look is different between two bags as I poured into the boxes. I checked dates and lot #'s and they're the same so I dont know.
