This will enable the abundant beneficial microbes to work hand-in-hand with fertilizer/nutrients to improve nutrient uptake efficiency, increase root mass, and reduce the effect of abiotic stresses such as heat and drought. The customer should look to the Soil Health Pyramid for guidance on building healthy, fertile soil to support and improve plant performance. The Soil Health Pyramid tells us to add organic matter/compost/mulch (30% by volume) to improve soil composition, add an organic, slow-release fertilizer geared to the plants being grown, and place TerraThrive Worm Castings Vermicompost into the root zone of new plants or mix approximately 10% into garden soil or soil media.
