Q: Can this pump run 2 ways? I.E, transfer water from one container to another and back again
4 years ago- A: The following can be found in the instructional manual: from the factory, the pump is set up for counter clockwise rotation (from opposite shaft end). To reverse the direction of the pump, first remove one end plate and impeller.4 years agoHelpful?

Q: can I pump potable water safely, and maintain its potability?

Q: Will this pump handle sealcoat material while hooked up to a 5hp motor
8 years ago- A: Please see the included response that we received from the manufacturer. "There are a couple of things to consider. There are different weights of driveway sealcoat, but in general, if it’s pourable, then it’s thin enough to be pumped by this pump. Something to check – if the sealcoat has sand in it, it’s going to chew up the pump and impeller, which of course isn’t covered by the warranty. As far as the motor, usually we recommend something smaller, like 1/3 HP or ½ HP. It has more to do with the RPM’s. If using an engine, we recommend nothing more than 2000 RPM’s. Something in the 1400 RPM range is preferable."8 years agoHelpful?
