Q: I would like to connect this to a 1/4" irrigation system from a rainwater collection tank for my garden, with a timer. Do you think this will work?

a year ago- A: Hi Dave, Running for an hour at that should not be an issuea year agoHelpful?
Q: Can this be ran on solar? How many watts needed?
a year ago- A: Hi there, The pump runs on 120 volts and draws about 975 Watts. Thanksa year agoHelpful?
Q: Can this pump be used to transfer ditch water that may have some sediment in it?
2 years ago- A: Hi there, This pump’s impeller can become damaged by some small debris. The pump does come with an intake screen that will block larger things but sediment, can act like sandpaper against the inside of the pump housing and the impeller. You can limit the damage by putting additional screening around the intake screen. Thanks2 years agoHelpful?
Q: If I attached a garden hose to the output side of this pump, with an on/off trigger for the nozzle, would the back pressure from a closed nozzle valve cause harm this pump?
3 years ago- A: Hi, Per the vendor-The pumps are not designed to have the out-flow cut off while the motor is running. If for a second or two, not an issue. If the flow is off for 2-3 minutes or longer, it can cause issues like overheating. Thanks3 years agoHelpful?
Q: Have a portion of my yard which floods in heavy rains; usually 2-4 inches of standing water. Can this pump be used to drain (transfer) the rain water from my yard?
3 years ago- A: Hi, Thanks for reaching out. Here is the information we received back from the vendor- Yes this pump will work well for this, just be sure that A) when priming the pump, prime the intake hose as well and B) do not let the pump run dry. Thanks3 years agoHelpful?
