Great Temp fence

I bought 75 of these in 2008. So far they are holding up great. I like the dual option to hang tape or twine. They step in easy to soft groud, if I'm trying to put them in a area with gravel (next to a driveway) I hammer in a large log nail first to make a hole and then put the post in. When it comes to a corner you'll want to use a t-post. The 4 hot strands keep in my alpacas and I haven't had a horse jump over it yet either. Works great to make a barrier around trees or freshly planted grass to keep the animals off it too. Highly recommend as a post for rotational grazing.

love them but

I love them, and the price, the posts itself haven't broke, but the tips of the tape holder bracket have broken off many of them, so not happy about that part. Getting ready to check with the manufacturer to see if they will replace the broken ones.

My makeshift round pen and an attempt at keeping the dogs out of my flowerbeds.
Left post is part of electric fence; right post is what bought to lift up the middle - its about 6 in too short

the small plastic foot piece breaks off too easily

We purchased 20 of these posts to set up polywire to fence in our sheep, with the idea that we'd be able to move them around. The first time using the posts, I broke the tiny foot piece off several of the posts, just by pressing down on them with the heel of my running shoe. We have some small stones in the soil, but it's mostly just clay and Bermuda grass that's never been difficult step posts in to. These broke far too easily. I ended up pressing them in by hand, and at the least bit of resistance, I used a rubber mallet to tap them in from the top a little at a time. That's far from an ideal way to have to do things. I purchased these after the plastic posts TS offers degraded from being in the sunlight for a year, and began falling apart. I'll be purchasing a different brand of posts next time. Hopefully I'll still be able to use these, since the fiberglass post itself it fairly sturdy and the clips seem to hold well. I really wouldn't buy these if you plan on moving them around much. The risk of breaking the dot piece off is too high. These will likely be kept for reinforcing corners.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Fiberglass fence post

Fiberglass poles are sturdier than the plastic ones I have used in the pass. All types of fencing can be used which is helpful. I have reinforced electric netting with this last purchase

Great for speedy fence setup

We use these for the electric around our property during the winter months to keep the deer out. We used to use the poly posts with the metal spike but they would eventually bend and make it difficult to insert. Not with these. Only issue I find is the step in tab could be larger. Otherwise, I'm very pleased.
