A Good Bent Shaft Shovel

This is my first experience with a “bent shaft” shovel. I found it was easier to shovel snow as was promised. The metal edge on the shovel’s edge was very helpful and another reason why I bought the shovel. Give it a try.

Exactly what I wanted. Slightly narrower, so it may take an extra pass, but it maneuvers better than a bigger shovel.

Shovel snow without your backing hurting

For the past 7 years, this has been the snow shovel I always turn to. Living in the Eastern Sierra, snow is often wet and heavy with layers of ice. Whether at home or shoveling for neighbors, I know I can move snow or ice with this shovel and not have my back hurting afterwards. The ergonomic bend in the handle ensures my hand slides towards the blade to support the load, without the stooping forward found with other snow shovels.
