Decent quality needs a couple design improvements

I’ve used a couple other climbers this is my first Summit and what grabbed my attention was the adjustable gun rest/front bar. I typically hunt with a crossbow. I’ve climbed with it twice and already have my opinions made up just from 2 climbs. My biggest issue is that the seat buckles are always coming undone. A couple times I stood up and then sat back down while up in the tree and 1 or 2 of the buckles just came undone when I put weight on the seat. This has happened a handful of times especially during nesting procedure. The seat needs to be flipped around when nesting which is frustrating because that’s another moment when the seat buckles come undone. Then you’re walking into the woods and the dangling seat buckle(s) are creating noise from hitting the stand. Nesting took a couple times to get use to because the seat makes it frustrating. There are 2 different configurations when setting up the seat you can sit up high or you can sit low. I’ve only sat in the low position. I found that the seat does get in the way when climbing up a tree. It is very comfortable when sitting at the right angle and the buckles aren’t coming undone. Definitely not a fan of the buckle design for the seat. I do find myself constantly messing with the seat. The next issue I have is with the gun rest/front bar. I do like how it is adjustable but there is no adjustment for the bar to sit in the level position. So I went ahead and drilled holes for the bar to sit in the level position with use of the spring pins that they provide with stand. Hopefully it will not affect the structural integrity of the stand. I did buy the folding/adjustable foot rest which does make sitting more comfortable. Quick and easy to install. I do like how well this stand grips to a tree. It digs in so well that you have to wiggle it side to side for it to come undone from the tree. This may make climbing up and down a little more time consuming. Overall quality seems to be decent but there are some design improvements that can be made.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Dual threat

Awesome stand I've been a summit climber guy for 30 years this one is the best there is. The adjustable seat and removable front bar is better than sliced bread. Haven't found anything to improve on or anything i didn't like.

Yes, I recommend this product.

It’s an ok stand

The front bar makes noise when you climb. It’s not really good as a rifle or bow stand. The bar isn’t really high enough to make a decent rest and dangles in the way when it’s in bow mode.
