180 Max
I’m 6’7” and 270lbs. I don’t fit well in most stands but the 180 max is by far the most comfortable stand that I have ever sat in. I have plenty of room to stand up and move around all while feeling super safe a secure. The areas that I hunt in are very steep and mountainous. I carried this stand on my back with no problems. It feels very comfortable and light weight once you get it nested together properly. The stand sits on my back perfectly and even feels like it offers lower back support as I’m walking through the woods. I carried it for 2hours straight while scouting. I highly recommend this stand and I am very pleased with the quality. I plan on using it for many years.

Great Products backed by Excellent Customer Service

I’ve used a number of different tree stands by various manufacturers through 50+ years of hunting. Summit stands are my favorite climbing stand and I trust their quality. My most recent purchase was the 180 Max SD. I owned a 180 previously and gave it to my son-in-law. Looking forward to many comfortable hunting days with the 180 Max.

180 Max SD
I was previous owner of Summit Goliath I owned for 18yrs. I've only used the climber twice since I purchased. The new climber is very comfortable. It does take some time getting use to climbing as it is recommended not to sit on the rail. Also the top rail is curved and makes it difficult to lean against while climbing(feels sketchy). The biggest issue I have is with the cables. After 2 uses the cables are nicked up and metal cable is exposed. The metal tubing end is very sharp and the cables get hung up inside of tubing(where tubing is stamped, SummitLokt). I called Summit with the issues and was sent a video of "How to use cables". Keep in mind I owned a Goliath for 18yrs without any issues. They said they would cover heat shrink under warranty and sending me new tubing.
