Bought for Dog - Husband stole

Well, I bought this awhile back for my dogs, to save some money at the groomer.
When I went to use it I couldn't find it at first. I finally found it in my husband's bathroom. He had stolen it to use for himself. He loves it! So much for saving money at the groomer.
I have used it on the dogs and it is a great clipper. I have a toy poodle and a maltipoo. One has baby fine hair and the other's hair is a bit woolie. These clippers work great on both of them. We have had them for over a year now and they still work and look brand new, even though they get lots of use....between the husband and the 2 dogs. Hmmmm, maybe I should see how they do at shaving leg.....only kidding.
These are great clippers and a definate good value.

Scam Alert. It's the human clipper marked up.

During COVID, I was grooming my Pomeranian with a WAHL clipper meant for humans. The cut was choppy and required me to go over his coat several times. We finally got a TSC in our town and I bought this today. The kit is nearly identical but for the fact that the clipper mechanism itself is much heavier to hold, louder, and has a more durable cord. Functionally, it cuts exactly the same. They charge you more than double the price and it doesn't cut any smoother or nicer than the version for humans. Plus, it's so loud that my dog was panicked and fearful, which did not happen with the human clippers. This is a total waste of money. Buy the human version (or not WAHL)- it's cheaper, lighter, quieter. You don't need the stupid gimmicky apron for the extra $30. Scam.

Saved my sanity

I have a golden doodle and as her visits to the groomer became more and more expensive, I started grooming her at home. I’ve tried several set of clippers and bought this due to the good reviews and budget friendly price point. I’ve only used them once but they worked extremely well on her. I’m actually not dreading the next time she has to be groomed!
