Q: Did Stanadyne change the label on their bottle in the last 5-7 years? Also, do they still have a 32 oz. bottle?

- A: We have provided the manufacturer's response below. “Yes, the product’s can be used together. It will not hurt anything, however the performance formula already contains a lubricity package. It just isn’t as concentrated as it is in the stand alone lubricity bottle. If the customer’s main goal is adding lubricy at this time, I suggest using the lubricity bottle by itself until you think you have solved that issue and then switch over to the performance formula if needed.”7 years agoHelpful?

Q: I’ve used another brand of additive. I’ve heard good things from Stanadyne and want to change over,do I need to do anything extra to switch over ?

- A: The manufacturer has advised if this is a passenger size vehicle, you should be fine using up the fuel in the tank and then using the STAN on your next fill up. They are not aware of any compatibility issues.8 years agoHelpful?

Really reduces repair costs and pays for itself in the long run. 5 stars for the review, but only 2 stars for the local TSS store that won't keep it in stock for me.

I bought my 2003 Ram with the 5.9L Cummins in 2003. I have used Stanadyne Performance Formula in every single fuel fill. My pickup had a 35 gallon fuel tank so I add 8 ounces to each tank fill. Since I do not know what my Cummins would run like without the Stanadyne on board, I cannot attest to all the attributes Stanadyne claims. Except one. My pickup does not see a lot of cold weather duty here in ND but several years ago, I needed to bring her out on a sub-zero day with No. 2 on-board and 8 ounces of Stanadyne mixed in. She ran like a scalded dog! So, I can attest to Stanadynes claims for cold weather performance. Ran her over the interstate for about 4 hours in sub-zero and back home with no fuel issues whatsoever. I love this product and trust it above all others!
