This gun cabinet was delivered by a friendly Tractor Supply driver in perfect condition with no dents or damage. With the changes in CA laws, I needed an approved cabinet (I didn't want a heavy safe) and I figured that with proper setup it would exactly hold my entire collection - and it does. The good: Comfortably holds my 10 rifles and 19 pistols using a hanging door pocket and only one shelf.at the highest setting. I have 5 longer rifles and 5 under 20" that fit under the shelf and room for at least one more long rifle. This is by far my most important criteria. It is also lightweight and relatively easy to assemble and move, and provides multiple different useful configurations and rifle holders for every wall. It's also very cheap compared to a safe - I got my cabinet on sale for $179, including delivery! The entire cabinet is metal so anything can be securely mounted to the walls or door with magnets. The Bad: Definitely not the most secure cabinet against thieves, the walls are thin, and the lock is a simple key lock. Also not fireproof rated. Assembly instructions are not quite correct. I had to pick the other set of holes for the center panel on the bottom. The black finish is delicate and scratches easily when installing the shelves. The pre-drilled holes for the rifle holders are too high for almost all my rifles - so I glued magnets to the back and lowered them. The 'foam' for the shelving is (I think) the packing foam used to ship the cabinet. It is OK, is not cut to size, and can easily be improved upon with shelf liners or carpeting. Could have used more scoped rifle extensions. Overall, motion-activated lights and a dehumidifier are all you need to have the complete safe-storage package, but some additional work can really make this cabinet much better. For around $200, it costs a lot less than some cases; and safely - and legally - holds a heck of a lot more guns. Four stars for adequate quality, five stars for excellent value!

Cheaply made with absolutely no assembly instructions. Bar code doesn't take you to an actual link.bwebsite does NOT even show this model number (GCHM-1918-DX). Dented and scratched. Impossible to get through to customer support. You get what you pay for. I was expecting a little better for $200. I would look for a better option.

Came rusted in many places. Poor finish application. Gouged and rusted in two places. Even for $200 this is a garbage product. Very weak quality control. I will not buy another Stack-On product, that's how *****y this product is. Don't waste your money.

My review of the gun cabinet is poor. It was shipped to my house in a cardboard box with no packing material. It was a gift for my son. When he opened the box, it was dented and banged up all over. This was very disappointing!
