This part is good if you need an extension it does not come with the spring pin though, if you are using an overrunning clutch be sure to check your length on the PTO drive shaft.

Thread the hole it works okay

I don't like these adapters as they allow people to hook up incompatible equipment and run it at the wrong PTO speed.
Take a 3/8 or 10mm tap and thread the hole it's the perfect size pilot hole. Use a short bolt to lock it onto the shaft.
Yes, I recommend this product.
