I've had several big nests of yellowjackets, and they are super aggressive. I used this to take the nests out and it worked like a charm. Some things that will ensure success: 1. Go out after dark; wear a headlamp or have someone carry a flashlight. The yellowjackets will be asleep and won't come flying out. 2. Insert the long straw nozzle far into the nest hole. You can't get the same results if you are spraying too close to the surface. 3. Use the entire bottle if possible. This ensures that the nest is taken out; some nests are huge! I can't give this five stars because anything that's growing around the nest area will be affected by the poison. So if the nest is near vegetable gardens or fruit trees, be prepared for it to have negative affects. This stuff killed my peace tree that had a yellowjacket nest right at the base. I'm an organic gardener and really would rather not use chemicals like this, but yellowjackets are JERKS.

I went to Tractor supply to purchase the Gordon's Wasp & Hornet Killer but found they no longer carry it, instead they have switched to Spectracide. I was forced to buy this stuff and give it a try. I found that many of the wasp left the nest; maybe to die later?? When using the Gordon's they would always drop to ground, dead. Gordon's is much better. I will not but the Spectracide again, it is no where near as good.
