Nice knife

Very good knife for the price. Nice 440 stainless blade. I like the sheath because of its ease of use. The knife snaps into the sheath and to release it you grab the handle and give it a push with your thumb to remove it. Sheath belt clip is adjustable by removing and replacing the screws to your desired position. However the knife is not balanced well the handle is too heavy compared to the blade and is awkward when trying to mount the sheath vertically. Overall I like the knife.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Great Knife, Sheath Needs Improvement

Nice Knife, well made. The cutting edge holds its sharpness well and it feels comfortable. I think it’s probably tied for favorite knife with the SOG Pillar.
Sheath is weird though... The screws that are meant to be undone to adjust the clip become stuck and either will never unscrew or will never tighten sufficiently.

I have had the Tellus FX in the Wolf Grey for almost a year and I have yet to find something to stop it yet! That being said, the UMS sheath is sorry to say this, I'm a huge fan of SOG, is absolutely garbage! The the clip attachment is unsable, screws strip or slip, the screws and bolts that lock the sheath into different carriers strip as well. I can get new screws, but the sheath will not hold the knife in it at all. It is splitting apart in the most important part of the sheath! The knife is well worth purchasing if you can get another sheath. Sorry back to the knife, I used it as my EDC for as long as I could. I know the blade is big and is an absolute beast, but you do have excellent control for those smaller jobs. Very well made and an excellent and quality knife!!
