The knife is hard to open. The old sog multi tool i have is much better. Still like dog though. The best knives on the market.

Second one I’ve purchased

a year ago

First one never failed just lost. Not perfect but close - blade opens boxes, cuts tags no problem - we have a lot of IKEA furniture so screw drive and pliers work for random tightenings- bottle opener checks. Would love the ability to hold an extra bit. Carried a skeletool for years but this is slimmer and easier on the jeans.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Pliers are useless

I really liked the size and shape of this tool. Had no problem with the assisted blade opening. The major failure I’ve had with 2 of this product is the pivot screw breaking twice now cutting a zip tie!!! The first time it happened I thought maybe I twisted the handles or something. So I got a replacement, and the same thing happened again. Not something I’d expect from a tool that is supposed to be an edc.

Blade locks closed. Does not lock in open position

Noticed blade lock in advertising and thought it would lock open. I just don’t see the point in owning a knife that doesn’t lock open. It does lock closed. Also assisted is nice but it takes so much force to open it’s easier to open a regular folding knife. I am returning. If those issues were fixed I would really like it.
