Item Information

Slime Tubeless Tire Sealant prevents and repairs flats in tubeless tires caused by punctures up to a quarter-inch. Non-flammable, non-corrosive, and non-toxic, this sealant utilizes Fibro-Seal technology that seals instantly and repeatedly. When a puncture occurs, the escaping air forces the Slime sealant into the puncture wound to seal the puncture, repeatedly sealing the tire for up to two years.

  • Virtually mess-free and cleans up easily with water
  • For use in all tubeless tires, including cars, trucks, tractors and ATVs
  • This sealant is compatible with Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems

I couldn't figure out why the Slime wasn't sealing the leak, so I bought another gallon and put more in the leaking tires. The next day the two tires were flat again, so I removed the wheels and using soapy water, looked for the leaks. The tires were fine, but there was small pinholes in the wheels. I removed the tires from the wheels, and the wheels were full of rust! I could actually push holes through the wheels with a small screwdriver. When i went to the dealership to buy new wheels, they told me they sold a lot of wheels to people who use Slime to prevent leaks. I'm now replacing the other two wheels as they too are full of rust.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Great For years have had to fill mower and hand cart tires at about every other use, After adding slime about 2 years ago have not had any more flats. Many times tire would go flat while mowing and require mower to be jacked up to re seat bead on rim, that doesn't happen any more because they never go flat. Just put it in my air compressor tires to. Now when I buy anything with tires I put in slime before first use. It says you can use the type for tubes in motorcycle tires but I wonder about balance issues at high speed, so have not tried that yet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great This works great. I got tired of flat tires on my Mowers, Hand trucks & Tractors. Buy the gallon size. It will store and you will have some for the next mower.

If Slime does not seal the air leak & requires the tire to be repaired, can the tire be patched. Or is a plug required to seal the leak?

Asked by: memy
We recommend all punctures in the tread area be permanently repaired with a plug and patch per RMA guidelines.

How does this compare to Berryman's tire sealer? I've always used slime w mixed results, but came across the berrymans sold by tsc.

Asked by: RSW Ranch
Slime is the best tire sealant! Guaranteed to perform for up to two years and works repeatedly, puncture after puncture. The formula is non-toxic, non-corrosive, non-flammable, non-aerosol, and water soluble.
