This Silvertip knot rope halter is hand-tied from 1/4 in. accessory cord, and is similar to halters used by top clinicians. Two extra knots are strategically placed at the noseband to encourage your horse to give to pressure and seek release. Handcrafted by Weaver Leather craftspeople in Mt. Hope, Ohio. 5 years ago- A: THE BOTTOM KNOTT IS CALLED A THERDORE KNOT I THINK YOU CAN SOMETIMES GET A HOLD OF THE KNOT AND WIGGLE IT TO LOOSEN THEN PUSH THE KNOT UP HOLD ON TO THE LOOPS BELOW THOUGH..
