Fertilizer can be applied before or after planting new grass. For best results, apply the fertilizer 2 weeks after seeding. New grass feed can be used whether you're starting a new lawn, reseeding an existing one, or installing sod, sprigs, or grass plugs.

AMAZING DEEP GREEN AND THICK LAWN

I used scotts centipede grass seed and the starter fertilizer for new grass and had amazing results as the overseeding thickened my yard and the fertilizer gave it a deep green color that was once again amazing. I'm doing it again this year as soon as the groud temperature rises.
