According to google, a miniature donkey is recognized as 36" or smaller so it sounds like this could be a good option, but it would be best to measure your animal to confirm compatibility.a year agoHelpful?

Great for goats

We bought this for our full-sized Nubian goats and have been really pleased with it, both for feeding hay and grain. I was worried that it wouldn't fit together well as it's relatively cheap, but everything was well milled and decently (if a bit sloppily) welded. The pan comes with super short legs with rubber feet that would probably work for dwarf goats; you can unscrew the feet to replace it with the included longer, also rubber-footed legs to make it tall enough for full size goats.

Rugged, Not Fit For Outdoor Use With Actual Goats

Construction quality is so-so. After almost one year of use with actual goats, welds are failing and the legs are coming apart. This is a lot of money to spend for one year of use. Now I need to buy a welder and learn how to weld in order to fix it.

The directions were a bit vague. The tools needed showed a rachet wrench and sockets but no size given. The directions said to attach the feet on the bottom, but there were rubber inserts on the fixed portion. The picture was suppose to show how to add the hay saver, but the picture wasnt clear. I get a little tired of vague instructions!
