This is a PS to my review. This item is finally after years of asking, found in the store. I don’t like buying anything I can’t see first. The stores sold feeders mostly for small cakes but never a stand alone one for the larger size until recently.
I read about the bird getting stuck in the grid. When the seed cake starts to get thinner I break it in two parts and jam them together so seed is always close to the sides.

Feeder came broken. Bag in box had been opened and broken feeder was still boxed and shipped.
