I bought these Gourds in the fall of 2013. Put them up in early spring and in May the Martin Scouts were checking out the new housing. They were easily assembled and instructions for the bracket was a breeze. I did order separately the porches for the gourds but they installed in no time. I now have 3 active nests and they seem very happy with their living arrangements. As you will also notice I took a tractor supply 5 gallon bucket and turned it into a pole guard (i.e. snakes, squirrel and raccoon). All other gourds are being checked out and will be occupied soon. Very pleased with this product!

Paid premium price for item and cannot even use.

Manufacturer ran out of screws and shipped items out to stores. Also missing a part of a gourd. Called 2 weeks ago and have not received any replacement parts or screws. I paid a premium price for item only to be left waiting. Im afraid Im too late to attract birds this year. Im very disappointed.

DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT!

There were multiple critical pieces missing (screws to hold the gourds together, the stars to hold the gourds on the pole, ect). We went to return the product to the store thinking that someone had just returned that one without all the parts, but when the employees checked the other boxes to make sure all the parts were there, EVERY SINGLE BOX WAS MISSING THE PARTS. These are not parts that we assumed would be in the box, THEY WERE PARTS THAT WERE CLEARLY STATED AS INCLUDED ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE BOX!
We needed the gourds in a rush so we were forced to go to the hardware store to find pieces that would fit. And spent a ton of extra money trying to make them work just to find out that our Purple Martins can't get into them without a Porch that we have to pay to order.
I have never been more disappointed with a product in my entire life.
No, I do not recommend this product.

These are by far the best Martin houses made. They are easy to clean and martins come to them really good. I put the little porch on the front of them. They will stand on them and chirp.
