Great bird seed. Very well liked by everything from Mourning Doves to Woodpeckers. In the freeze they emptied our bird feeder over and over again

Birds seem to enjoy it. There is some waste but I like that it has some dried fruit in it and not a bad price.

I've been purchasing this brand and type of bird seed for months and it's been great for the wild birds in my backyard. However, in the past few months or so, I've noticed more filler seeds that the birds are not fond of eating and this ends up on the ground. For the price I am paying for fruit and nuts, I'm not a fan of paying for more filler. I wrote to Royal Wing on their website about this and have not received a response. I'm somewhat disappointed.

This bird food has less fruit and nuts compared to competitors. It is full of filler seed (white proso millet) so much that is all you see when filling your bird feeder. Not enough birds eat millet seeds and it is a tactful way for the manufacturer to get the weight needed on the bag you are buying. Some white millet is fine but my feeder is full of it and the birds aren't eating it. I have to discard it every fill. There just isn't enough variety as the white millet is the majority and most of it ends up on the ground. I do not recommend this bird food and there are better options such as "Kaytee" fruit and nut.
