First of all, I bought the hanging bracket with the screws missing. That's OK because it was marked down and I doubt that the original screws were stainless steel so I used my own SS screws. The funky design is that while you can remove the bar/hook from the bracket for easier mounting, you can't replace the bar/hook after the bracket is mounted because the location of the slot on the bracket and the "stop nub" on the bar that goes through the slot require that the bar face backward towards the mounting surface. You have to take the bracket off the mounting surface, insert the bar into the bracket and re-mount them as a single assembly.

Just What I Needed

The deer were emptying my squirrel resistant bird feeder out every night and squirrels were trying their best to find a way to snack. I got proactive and went about trying to find a substantial bracket with an extended hook to put my feeder out of reach. This is exactly what I was looking for AND in stock at my local TS! Decent price to pay considering all the money I’ll save in bird feed!
