It catches wasps, carpenter bees and a few mud daubers as claimed. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that it will not last an entire season in Tennessee. One has lasted almost 2 months. I expect to replace twice to get through the warm weather here.

The Bird Guard Needs To Be Designed

Stop buying this product until RESCUE gets serious about redesigning the Bird Guard to prevent small birds such as Wrens from getting stuck to the product. I'm currently looking for a 1/2" square fabric made of plastic to cover over the existing Bird Protector.

RESCUE! to the rescue!

Purchased two and hung on my eaves where the bees were going in and out. A month later over 1200 bees trapped! These work very well! Do not hesitate to buy them.

Although this wasp TrapStik works, I’d love to see a refill. Less plastic waste and I think you could make money on them!

Failed to attract wasps

3 months ago
This did not work well at trapping yellow wasps, the target species. Over weeks of this being by the pool, it trapped exactly one wasp. At the same time, it trapped honey bees, native bees and other pollinators that I want in my yard. I have had more success just netting the wasps that land in my pool by hand.
