The contents do have yeast, and ingested, it can cause an upset stomach, vomiting, and possibly diarrhea. If the trap contained flies, they can carry bacteria and may add to the gastrointestinal discomfort. It's a good idea to keep fresh water available for your dog and watch them for worsening symptoms. Ingesting the plastic parts of our traps can cause other issues, depending on your pet, what was consumed, and how much. If your concerns worsens, or your dog is behaving strangely, please contact Rocky Mountain Poison and Drug Safety at 1-866-767-5077. Works way better than we anticipated!!

We do not have a noticable fly problem. However we started seeing more by our garage, so we bought the trap to try. It was out for less than 2 weeks and was completely full of dead flies. It does have a fermentation smell to it, because that's what it is doing, so I would recommend not putting it next to a walkway or house windows.

Amazing product

Bought this on a whim, and never expected it to work so well. After buying one, ran out and got three more. I put them all around my house. You will be shocked how fast this thing can fill up. Glad I watched a video and found out it is reusable. Get one and try it out.

Not working this year

I have used these traps for a couple of years but the ones I bought this year are not attracting flies. They apparently have changed the product. 3 days up and not 1 fly. Unfortunate.

We have really bad bug problem at our house. We spray, bug zappers, and all sorts of other products. The only one that ever worked was these fly trap bags. They work great and there not that expensive. They do start to stink after awhile but a small price to pay for taking care of our fly problem. We did just buy one that had a hole in it so we kept losing water. We just threw that one away. That was disappointing but other then that the product works amazingly well. It helps keep Flys out of our house especially when we take the dogs out all the time. Thank you for a great product that works.
