- A: Thankfully, the attractant inside our traps is non-toxic and made of food or feed-grade ingredients. The contents do have yeast, and ingested, it can cause an upset stomach, vomiting, and possibly diarrhea. If the trap contained flies, they can carry bacteria and may add to the gastrointestinal discomfort. It's a good idea to keep fresh water available for your dog and watch them for worsening symptoms. Ingesting the plastic parts of our traps can cause other issues, depending on your pet, what was consumed, and how much. If your concerns worsens, or your dog is behaving strangely, please contact Rocky Mountain Poison and Drug Safety at 1-866-767-5077. This a free hotline for our customers to speak directly with a veterinarian. I have used these traps for a couple of years but the ones I bought this year are not attracting flies. They apparently have changed the product. 3 days up and not 1 fly. Unfortunate.

We have really bad bug problem at our house. We spray, bug zappers, and all sorts of other products. The only one that ever worked was these fly trap bags. They work great and there not that expensive. They do start to stink after awhile but a small price to pay for taking care of our fly problem. We did just buy one that had a hole in it so we kept losing water. We just threw that one away. That was disappointing but other then that the product works amazingly well. It helps keep Flys out of our house especially when we take the dogs out all the time. Thank you for a great product that works.

The ONLY Lure that works!

I have been using this brand of trap and lure for 3 years. Not going to lie, I definitely tried others, I even received other brands for free. This brand, RESCUE is the only one that ALWAYS catches flies. hundreds of flies. This year 2026 has been especially bad in Florida so I instead of only needing to use it for a few weeks, I am on my 2nd month. I decided to use only 1/2 of the lure in the correct amount of water, and I am still catching 100s of flies. They swarm around the top to get in. I have to empty it at least twice between my weekly trash collection. DO NOT let it get full and leave it. You will get maggots!! The photos shows a different trap but it has RESCUE lure inside and this is what it collected after only 2 days.
I sure wish they sold the lure in bulk!
