The Reinsman Circle R Ported Bit combines one the most popular shanks of all time with a great mouthpiece to calm a nervous horse. An outstanding horse bit for a horse used to a leverage shank, the design gives more control than a normal medium port. The horse mouth bit also adds pressure to the bars and roof of the mouth to help break the horse over at the poll for better collection. These western horse bits offer a copper roller that has been shown to calm a nervous horse, especially one who likes to chew or play with the bit. Also, the copper aids in saliva production, creating a wet, soft mouth.

  • Ported bit features 7 in. cheeks and a 5 in. sweet iron mouthpiece with a 1-1/2 in. medium port and copper roller
  • Limited lifetime guarantee
  • With one of the best all-time shanks, this horse mouth bit delivers medium plus leverage and excellent balance with more control than a normal medium port
  • Mouthpiece is good for a nervous horse that likes to play with the horse bit
  • Adds some tongue pressure to help break a horse over at the poll for a better headset
  • Sweet iron encourages salivation to create a supple feeling mouth
  • Copper is a soft metal and should be watched for excessive wear
  • These Stage C western horse bits are built for riders and horses who love neck reining and horses who respond well to poll pressure

Great bit!

Bought this bit 11 months ago. My 7 y/o TWH was a bit green, so I was looking for a bit to have control and correction. My horse loves the bit! He has a soft mouth & I use a light hand. It has remained like new, and we ride 3-4 ties weekly.
