Q: Having a hard time fitting our mini-mules.  Local store has never carried some sizes (or they immediately disappear).  Mule weight 400-450.  Small is too big.  Next store size down is Pony which is too small. Anything in between?

  • A: We do have a more than just the (small, medium, and large) sizes in both of the SKUs 1052691/1052697. There is a “Foal/Miniature” size and a “Weanling/Small Pony” size. Both of these sizes may not be available in all stores. They are available for purchase on the TSC Website.

Q: I have Arabian and I bought a medium and too big but worried small would be to small is there a huge difference between medium and small?

1 Answer
  • A: Medium halters are made to fit a 500 – 800 pound horse and the medium is made to fit an 800 – 1100 pound horse. This is just a guideline as some breeds may have larger heads etc.

Q: Would the small fit a 4 month old miniature horse?

Anonymous5 years ago
2 Answers
  • A: A small would probably be way too large for a 4-month-old mini. Foal or colt sizes would be closer in size to what you need, depending on your horse's size, and whether the horse will grow or stay small based on the breed.

Great simple halter.

Simple, cute and great halter. I use it to have a spare or supervised haltering. I don’t haul or tie in anything not leather unless highly supervised. I love this halter for bathing and around the farm! Super stylish
