Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fruit Tree Fencing Used for protecting newly planted fruit trees from the deer. Height is perfect. Does the trick with 3 5’ T-posts. Seems to be the best price around town.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lighter weight I haven't bought this hardware for a few years now. The hardware has a lighter weight today than my last purchased. Hope it holds up like the heavy hardware I purchased many years ago.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Satisfactory I have purchased 5 rolls of the wire from my local Tractor Supply store. The strength of the wire is ok, but the length of the wire is about 15-20 feet shorter on all the rolls that I purchased. I contacted the manufacturer for answers but have not received a response.

Could this be used for fancing a yard for a dog (approx 120lbs). We would like to fence about 1/4 acre. If so, what type of posts should we use, and how far should the posts be spaced?

Asked by: TM77
This fencing would not be suitable for a fence to contain your dog. Because it is welded, if your dog were to jump on it, it would not hold up.

Would this fencing be ideal for a fenced in area for dogs? One of mine can destroy chain link so need something a bit more secure for her but still want her to be able to see us when we are outside.

Asked by: Hbcritter
It depends on your dog. This wire is 14ga which is generally thinner than chain link and you will want to bury the line if your dog is a digger.

What grade is the galvanizing on the fencing. I need a class 3 but you do not mention in any of the specifications for the fencing. I don't want to have to replace this fence in a few years

Asked by: ggorham
Red Brand fences use three classes of zinc coating (In order of least zinc coating to most: Commercial, Class 1 and Class 3). This particular fence is Commercial grade.

I put up a living fence using the your 72" X 100 " fencing 4 years ago. I noticed there some rusting starting at certain spots on the fencing. Should I be worried? The fence project is beautiful but I'm afraid of rust through and breakage.

Asked by: RetiredSteve
There should be no need to worry. Even though the wire is galvanized, some rusting is expected.
