Q&As

1 - 10 of 50 Questions

Q: What posts do I need, and how far apart to install?

1 Answer
  • A: Hi Moejoe! The use of T-posts or Wood posts both are suitable options Tree's are another good mounting option if there is enough tree coverage where installing. The post should be about 8.5ft- 9 ft to accommodate the fencing once installed. The spacing will greatly depend on the climate. Areas with high winds should put the posts closer together (I.E 4-6 ft apart).

Q: Will this work as a fence to a wiffle ball field?

1 Answer
  • A: Hi Neighbor! While this fence could be used to fence in a wiffle ball court, it would not be ideal. Deer fencing is designed to deter deer, not to contain a wiffle ball. It might work for keeping the ball in, but the mesh size is too large to prevent a wiffle ball from passing through, and the height might be too low to reliably keep balls in play.

Great Value!

I recently purchased this item as a low cost alternative to hardware cloth for my new chicken run. I know that it is not the intended purpose, but you cant beat the price. SO, I took a chance and couldn't be happier that I did. The mesh is strong, easy to install, and keeps the bad birds out and the good ones in! Some of the previous comments and reviews made me hesitant, but this is a great product, exactly what I expected and got the job done! A++

Thin and flimsy

Fence is the wrong word. This is a NET. Flimsy and thin. We bought deer fence for cheaper than this last year from another company, but sadly everyone seems to be selling this flimsy stuff this year. Last year's roll weighs several times more, and the mesh has enough rigidity to stay square. This is floppy, and we will be returning it.

Meh. Plastic. Chincy.

Meh. It’s cheap plastic. Cost $4 for shipping as it wasn’t available in the store. I did to realize that. Just had something chew through it and dig up the plants in my garden. I wouldn’t purchase this again. Maybe use it for covering.

Deer fence is just light weight bird netting

I bought the deer fence as it looked somewhat sturdy in their pictures. It ended up just being super lightweight bird netting so I couldn’t use it unfortunately.

Was expecting little more protection for Deer. They could push straight through this fly net.
