I have been a big fan of Razorback products.

Back in the early 80s razorback was made by union fork and Hoe. When you work with your hands for a living you tend to be really picky about the tools you select to work with After Hurricane Irma pasted I was in the need for another pitch fork / manure fork. The forks consist of five tynes which are made out of cast iron, And they appear strong enough to where they’re probably forged and maybe heat treated ? The handle looks like it’s made out of white oak. Has a very good balance and rlets you maximize you grip. The length of the handle is 4’6” long which is perfect. If I didn’t know any better this is the same handle they put on the square point shovel’s. Its a brute, You won’t break it I assure you. Like most tools, real tradesmen tend to modify them a little for there own Particular needs. I spent about 35 minutes cleaning up the sandcast lines on the tines of the fork by sanding them out with a flap wheel on a 6 inch grinder. This small modification Let you release material off of the fork much faster because there’s no drag on the rough edges once there polished out. Just like sharpening the edge of a square point shovel when you’re digging makes a big difference.
I ordered this tool online from tractor supply they said I would have it in a week. It was free shipping to our store in Apopka the package said UPS on it.
It was in my hands in four days not one week.
If you can keep it out of the weather, Just like any other High quality tool it will last a lifetime.

Cheap forks made in China.

Forks are made in China. I thought the higher price would prove better quality than others. Not the case. Save your money and go with a Truper.

5 tine Roughneck fork not high quality.
- Verified Product Owner

Description linfo with the product on your website said fork was tempered as well as forged. Razorback labeling does not claim it is tempered. The fat rough surfaced tines on the fork make it heavy and difficult to penetrate into materials. I have a 60+ year old 5 tine fork with thinner and stronger tines, which I was hoping to replicate for a gift to my wife. But instead I get this low quality fork.
I have yet to find a 5 tine fork that has tempered tines and matches the quality of 60 year old fork.

Replacement for an old metal manure fork.
- Verified Product Owner

I find that a metal manure fork is indispensable for cleaning stalls and handling large loads of manure. I also found that I had to really look around before I found this one at our local Tractor Supply. I sure didn't have any problems finding the broken one which I'm guessing that I have had approximately for 25-30 years. I have had it less than a week or thereabouts. It is metal, sturdy and works like my old one. It's a manure fork! I did not buy the fork on line as I wanted to handle and see prior to purchasing it.

Too much $$ for a dull fork
VERY blunted points on the tines, and they are not all in the same plane. (bent up/down from true)

Extremely blunt tines
I bought two of these manure forks to replace my old ones that were 40+ years old. These seem sturdy, but the tines are extremely blunt. The tines won't go through hay, let alone manure, thus requiring a ton of effort for what should be easy work. I'm definitely going to have to pay more money to have the tines sharpened. For the amount of money I paid, I shouldn't have to pay more to make them meet my needs.
No, I do not recommend this product.
