- A: Hello- I am unclear by the question. If asking if the bait itself smells, then it does have a slight grain and fish flavoring scent. If asking if the deceased mouse will have an odor; then yes. The bait itself does not cause the smell, but the decaying tissue of the mouse itself will. There is not currently a product in the market that can support a label claim of making deceased rodents not smell.2 years agoHelpful?
