[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Kneeling mats aren't the most exciting thing in the world. At least, they weren't. I will admit that I squealed a little when my new Proflex lightweight mats arrived. There's no shame when the praise is deserved. I'm used to kneeling mats being unusually heavy for their size, and a bit on the squishy side, but these are exactly what they claim to be: lightweight. That doesn't take away from their comfort when in use. I have used them on surfaces from slick concrete to very irregular transitioning surfaces in the Melt Shop, and I haven't felt the underlying surfaces poke at me, yet. They are easy to scoot when you aren't on top of them, but hold firmly in place when you are. The LG mat is a little more compact than the XL, but still provides ample room to work without having to keep your knees in one place. As always, the distinct branding I have come to expect from Ergodyne shows clearly on each mat, regardless of how dirty it might get, and the uniform grab handle slots make it possible to hang multiples or multisize sets in any workspace for easy use.

There are areas with concrete and areas that are small stone areas, which looks and feels like kitty litter. This mat has really worked out well. It is large enough to kneel on and move around without having to move the pad. It also is large enough to use as an extra place where I can set tools and parts down and not lose them. It’s been a great addition to my arsenal of making things easier at work. It is a little thinner than other products and with that is slightly uncomfortable on edge areas. Other than that this is a great product and I would recommend this product to anyone! Thank you very much!
