I purchased the Producer's Pride 8x8 universal poultry pen on 3/22/2026 for same day delivery. Due to the "gig" company Tractor Supply contracts with, the poultry pen was finally delivered on 3/25/2026. However, delivery driver forgot to drop off the hardware needed to install the pen. He mailed it to me and I received it the next evening. After removing the contents to check that everything was present before installing the enclosure, I noticed 1 of the roof panels is dented so much that the connection pipe would not fit. One of the slanted wall panels and 2 of the straight wall panels has an extensive amount of the finish coating scraped off. This is a big concern because of the risk of rusting without the coating. The entire experience has been very disappointing and the quality of the item itself is very poor.

Item arrived by tractor supply carrier, the item arrived bent and damaged. Can’t seem to get ahold of anyone on the phone. I’ve called 4 times and the wait times are 30+ minutes. I’ve left my number for a call back and still no calls. So make sure you look at this product before accepting it by carrier.

let's see how it holds up with New England weather.so far its great strong fence. wished it came with 3 mounting brackets per panel vs 2 for top and bottom for more durability.

Seems sturdy, fairly easy to assemble (having two people would make it a lot easier). I would say that it's suited for up to only six egg layer chickens. It probably won't keep out squirrels/rodents without modifications but it's likely to keep larger predators from getting in. The knock out section is a nice feature. I would recommend getting 2x4s for the base if the ground isn't completely level.
