Chickens will love to roam and stretch their wings in the Producer's Pride Universal Poultry Pen. At 8 ft. x 8 ft., this extra-large run offers plenty of room for your flock to explore. It's made from durable steel to keep out the strongest of predators, and the panels are strategically spaced to prevent any predators from sneaking in. A powder-coat finish protects the chicken pen from wear and tear. The door is large for convenient access and features a 2-way locking latch. Compatible with most padlocks. Easy to assemble.

let's see how it holds up with New England weather.so far its great strong fence. wished it came with 3 mounting brackets per panel vs 2 for top and bottom for more durability.

Sturdy pen

Seems sturdy, fairly easy to assemble (having two people would make it a lot easier). I would say that it's suited for up to only six egg layer chickens. It probably won't keep out squirrels/rodents without modifications but it's likely to keep larger predators from getting in. The knock out section is a nice feature. I would recommend getting 2x4s for the base if the ground isn't completely level.

The quality is great but when you want a larger space, joining multiple cages leaves you short of joining brackets when staggering on uneven ground. Choice would be better. The ability to join front/back & roof sections without duplicate end pieces would be great. Customized run allowing customers to order exactly the number of individual sections (front/back, left/right ends, and roof pieces) should be an option. It would generate more customers!

Bunnies not chickens

Nice cage. I wouldn't put more than maybe 4 chickens in it with a coop. I bought mine for 2 bunnies. I will be doing lots of extras to make it safe and protect them.
