Chickens will love to roam and stretch their wings in the Producer's Pride Universal Poultry Pen. At 8 ft. x 8 ft., this extra-large run offers plenty of room for your flock to explore. It's made from durable steel to keep out the strongest of predators, and the panels are strategically spaced to prevent any predators from sneaking in. A powder-coat finish protects the chicken pen from wear and tear. The door is large for convenient access and features a 2-way locking latch. Compatible with most padlocks. Easy to assemble.

Easy to build, sturdy, stands the test of time

We purchased a second one because we were so happy with our first. This one will be used for a garden area in spring and summer and chicken run in fall and winter. We attached it to the one we have, but it doesn’t work perfectly. They are not made to be attached together. As other reviews suggest, it would be awesome if they could make it so two pens could be attached and where we could pick and choose what sides we could add. Other than that, the pen is sturdy and is easy to build. Both pens came damaged a bit in shipping with bent roof on one of them. It says it is big enough for 24 chickens. We have 8, and it is about at its max (we let them out to freely roam during the day). Overall a good and sturdy product. That’s why we bought a second.

Keep Up On Tetanus Shot - It's Going to Rust Fast!

I purchased the Producer's Pride 8x8 universal poultry pen on 3/22/2026 for same day delivery. Due to the "gig" company Tractor Supply contracts with, the poultry pen was finally delivered on 3/25/2026. However, delivery driver forgot to drop off the hardware needed to install the pen. He mailed it to me and I received it the next evening. After removing the contents to check that everything was present before installing the enclosure, I noticed 1 of the roof panels is dented so much that the connection pipe would not fit. One of the slanted wall panels and 2 of the straight wall panels has an extensive amount of the finish coating scraped off. This is a big concern because of the risk of rusting without the coating. The entire experience has been very disappointing and the quality of the item itself is very poor.

No, I do not recommend this product.
