Feed Producer's Pride Hi-Mag Mineral Block (this product) to beef and dairy cattle and sheep on pasture or confinement. Place blocks in easy access areas, such as pathways or watering or loafing areas. Feed continuously. Adequate roughage must be available at all times. Do not feed additional salt or minerals containing salt. DO NOT FEED TO OVERLY HUNGRY OR STARVED ANIMALS, AS OVER CONSUMPTION MAY OCCUR. For Beef Cattle: Feed 5 to 6 ounces per head per day. Supply 1 block for every 10 to 20 head. For Dairy Cattle: Feed 7 to 8 ounces per head per day. Supply 1 block for every 20 to 30 head. For Sheep: Feed 1 to 1.5 ounces per head per day. Supply 1 block for every 20 to 30 head. The blocks may be fed on the ground but it is best to feed in bunks or boxes. Protect this product from heavy rains to minimize waste. Recommended consumption is 0.5 oz. to 1.5 oz. per 100 lb of bodyweight daily depending on the quanity and quality of the forages fed. This product is not a complete feed and must be fed with pasture and/or roughage. If consumed at recommended amounts, this product will provide adequate minerals. If pasture or roughage sources become inadequate in either quality or quanity resulting inadequate energy values for satisfactory growth, performance or body condition, supplemental grain or better quality roughages should be fed.
