Great Machine for the Price

Small but powerful. I have 3/8 gauge chain and it works very well. Please note it has to be bolted down as the spring to lower the grinding wheel is pretty solid. Seems like a great machine for this price. Make sure to set it up correctly and you should not have an issue

Not what it says it is

I chose this product based on what the web site told me about the unit. It said the motor was 85 W, and yes, that's what it says in the manual as well. But the plate on the machine itself - the most accurate description of my particular machine - says it is only 50 Watts. This might be why reviewers found that the motor bogged down when grinding. After seeing this (and showing it to the Tractor Supply customer service representative), I returned the product and bought one that was actually 85 Watts from another store.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Great quality sharpener for the price

It has already paid off, we have sharpened quit a few blades with it so far still going strong. It cost $7.50 to $10.00 a piece to have them sharpened from somebody else plus you have to wait a day or two to get them back. We got ours on sale which was a plus, so thank you Tractor Supply!
