Special Precautions

• Tell your veterinarian about any other eye medications or eye drops your pet is using prior to starting Prednisolone Acetate Ophthalmic Solution.
• If your pet has itching, swelling of the face, or appears to have difficulty breathing, immediately notify your veterinarian.
• Do not touch the opening of the dropper to any surface, including hands or eyes.

Overdose Information

Immediately contact your closest emergency animal hospital or vet.

Side Effects

Rarely the following side effects could occur:

• Corneal perforation
• Cataract formation
• Increased pressure within the eye

More commonly-reported reactions could occur, such as:

• Sensitivity to light
• Blurred vision
• Redness
• Itching
• Irritation
• Stinging
• Burning

Store at room temperature.

Tips

If you skip a dose, apply the missed dose when you remember. However, if it is almost time to apply the next dose, skip the missed dose and apply the next one as directed. Never apply two doses at once.
