Only buy if your existing 220V cord has Y ends

Do not buy this pressure switch unless you already have a 220 volt power cord that has Y terminals or blade terminals. My air compressor had ring terminals. The screws to secure the terminals cannot be removed so you must have a cord with male blades that fit the supplied female blades. Alternatively you can remove the supplied male blades and insert Y terminals from the power cord. I literally spent hours visiting the local appliance, farm supply and hardware stores searching for a 220 V cable that would work but 100% of the cords they stock have ring terminals. I even went to a specialty electrical contract supply store and they only stock ring terminals! Ditto for all online sellers. Ultimately I used end nippers to remove an arc from each ring connector of my existing cord to turn them into pseudo-Y terminals but even then the difficulty didn't end since the Powermate is made with sturdy plastic dividers to prevent adjacent connectors from touching but the gap between them is narrower than the ring connectors are wide! So then I had to squeeze each cut-out ring connector to make them narrow enough to act like a Y connector. A HUGE, HUGE and completely unnecessary waste of time that would have been avoided either by buying a different brand switch or having this switch be manufactured to fit the standard terminals available on the market!

No, I do not recommend this product.

Great fit

Would have been nice if they included a short piece of pipe to use between the tank and this switch.

Manufacturing Defect

After waiting for over a week to receive, there was a huge manufacturer defect as the switch was made upside down. Needed the switch so I installed it and as of right now seems to work fine. Not sure how this switch passed inspection as it is made upside down and not sure how long it will last.

Yes, I recommend this product.
