Polyglycan Sterile Solution is a post-surgical lavage used for horses. It's formulated with naturally-occurring synovial components to help restore and maintain joint health. It's also useful for replenishing any synovial fluid that may have been lost during surgery. Polyglycan is highly viscous and is sold in 10 mL vials. Prescription only.How it Works
Glucosaminoglycans are important components of all extracellular tissue structures including cartilage and synovial fluid. The active components in Polyglycan exhibit viscoelastic and polyionic properties similar in nature to synovial fluid.
