Stainless doesn't rust but this spatula does.

I don't know if they changed this but mine is app 1yr old. I used it for the first time yesterday and when I grabbed it I saw rust. The spatula is stored with my grill under a grill cover and in my garage 24/7. The spatula is magnetic and I know it is not built out of 400 series stainless because mine has rust spots. Very disappointed!!
