This product is an NSAID that works to relieve inflammation of the musculoskeletal horses. With a tasty orange citrus flavor, this product contains 1 gram of phenylbutazone. It has an analgesic effect due to its anti-inflammatory qualities.

Special Precautions

• Closely monitor or avoid administering to animals taking other anti-inflammatory medications, including corticosteroids or NSAIDs.
• Do not administer to animals with a history of blood dyscrasia, serious cardiac pathology, serious renal pathology, or serious hepatic pathology.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Only for use in horses.

Overdose Information

Immediately contact your closest emergency animal hospital or vet.

Side Effects

If you note any indication of the following conditions, withdraw use and seek immediate veterinary attention for treatment:

• Blood dyscrasia
• Jaundice
• Gastrointestinal upset
• Tarry stools
• Black stools
• Granulocyte decrease
• Decrease in total white count

Rarely, dogs have experienced fatal reactions to this medication. To prevent this, regular blood counts should be obtained weekly in early phases and bi-weekly after that.
