Q: Can you clean the filters? How often should they be cleaned? Are they easily acessable?

- A: We appreciate you asking about this! The carbon filters cannot be cleaned, but should be changed as needed. Most homes change their carbon filter every 2-4 weeks based on use. The foam filters can be rinsed a few times while cleaning your fountain, and used for 1-3 months. Both filters are easily accessible while the fountain is fully disassembled for cleaning; it is recommended to fully disassemble the fountain and pump every 1-2 weeks. Cleaning steps for both the fountain and the four pieces of the pump are available in the manual.8 months agoHelpful?

Leaks uncontrollable

My cats love the bubbler fountain and it’s quiet. I love how it has a red light to indicate low water and the ambiance blue light is a nice nighttime feature. Over all I don’t recommend this product. Invest in something better because this fountain is MESSY. Water is constantly leaking and I’m always refilling it every few hours because it leaks all over the floor. I’ve read the trouble shooting errors and what to do to fix them and nothing works. I bought two fountains and they both leak.
No, I do not recommend this product.

It's okay

The PetSafe is an okay water fountain. I like that it filters the water and turns red when it needs to be refilled. I don't like the noise factor, and it is difficult to refill from the top without spilling, and if you remove the lid, it's hard to line back up the tube.

My cats love this! I love that it keeps the water clean and fresh. It holds a lot. Doesn't make a lot of noise. They love to lick the moving water. So glad I got this!

Our cats LOVE this!

Our cats LOVE this fountain! It was very easy to put together and get it operating. I was afraid our cats would play with the fountain instead of drinking from it but that hasn’t been the case at all. It holds a decent amount of water. The light on the front turns red when it’s time to refill. It’s virtually silent! We’d definitely recommend this to everyone with cats!
