Make sure you put the blue stater back on

I bought this in an emergency as my previous fountain had died and I do want to call out something in the instructions that is totally unclear which will cause the new unit not to pump water over the top of the ceramic ball. In step three where you remove the teardrop shaped stater by pulling up on the small lip, you need to put this back on. I saw the instructions just saying reassemble and thought that for some reason the blue teardrop shaped stater was for shipping or stability once I realized my mistake I reassembled using the stater and the pump worked great.

Finally Found the Perfect Cat Fountain

I honestly love this PetSafe Drinkwell Seascape Fountain. It was really easy to set up and clean, and both of my cats started using it right away. One of them likes drinking from the running water while the other prefers the little reservoir part, so it actually works out perfectly for them both.
It’s also way quieter than I expected. At first the pump sounded a little loud and I thought something was wrong, but it just needed to be adjusted into the right spot and run for a bit. After a couple hours it became almost completely silent. I read that air bubbles can get trapped in the pump at first, which seems to be what happened.
Definitely worth the money in my opinion — happy cats and way less mess than regular water bowls.

My cats love this fountain. My biggest complaint is that it seems to have developed a hard water line around the top of the bowl that I can’t scrub off no matter what I do. It seems to be permanently stained. Other than that, it is somewhat easy to clean as long as you keep up with it.

Perfect Fountain

Heavy, quiet and simple to clean and use. Have tried other fountains in the past but my cat likes to knock it over and play with the streams of water. Since it flows over a ball and is ceramic she can’t knock it down.
